With the imminent arrival of two new 5 Axis Machines from DMG and an additional CMM to the Quality Inspection Department means we continue to underline our commitment to the latest technology in precision engineering.
Increased 5 Axis Machining Capacity
The two new additions to the 5 Axis Machining facility at Amdale are the Deckel Maho DMU 60 and the DMU 80 Linear Multi Axis Machining Centres, which sets a new benchmark in 5-Axis machining. The combination of the precise rotary axes with integrated direct measuring systems leads to outstanding precision and enhanced performance. The construction and solid machine bed design provide the highest precision and accuracy, for both low or high volume production. These machines have the full 5 Axis simultaneous capability or multi-face machining ensuring maximum precision.
Amdale have also invested in the ‘Dynamic Packages’ for the DMU machines, which includes X/Y axis, rapid feed acceleration and an active chiller for the main spindle, lineardrives and table, together with the tool magazine which has 60 positions, chain type and double gripper. Managing Director, Martin Koerner commented “The demand from our customers prompted us to not only meet but exceed their expectations. We understand their need for the most accurate results in an ever changing manufacturing environment and the new machines together with the advantage of the ‘dynamic package’ will enable us to do this”.
Always Striving for Continuous Improvement
The Quality Inspection Department is an integral part of the business, covering all aspects of the production process, from the initial customer enquiry through to final inspection. Amdale are always striving for continuous improvement which we can deliver to our customers.
The DEA Global Silver Edition is the third CMM to join the Quality Inspection Department. It has first class accuracy and dynamics with state-of-the-art scanning throughout for optimised workflow, which means Amdale can increase capacity and reduce machine downtime for maximum performance in minimum time.
We also have a new addition to the Amdale family, Hayley O’Connor joined Amdale in July as Marketing Administrator. Hayley is a recently qualified marketing graduate who has a passion for all things digital. She will be responsible for all marketing activity and has already started work on the redesign of the Amdale website. Hayley commented “I am looking forward to working together with the Amdale team to develop and expand the brand; there are many exciting new projects on the cards for us, so watch this space!”
With a new factory proposal for expansion in the pipeline too, Amdale are excited for the future and continue their commitment to excellence in complex precision machining.
