2012 has been a tremendous year for Amdale as we have seen significant changes that have really boosted Amdale’s capabilities within the ever changing environment of precision engineering.

After it was recently announced that the economy is showing signs of recovery, manufacturing SMEs in England are predicting an increase in sales over the next six months according to the latest Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) Barometer.
Just over half of the 607 companies questioned expect to grow between October and March 2013, with 41% of firms set to boost investment in plant and machinery. There was also a moderate increase in those planning to spend on new technology (38%).
Lorraine Holmes, Area Director for the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), commented: “It’s reassuring to see more SMEs are expecting to increase their sales going forward and this despite a slight fall over the last six months. Manufacturers have been reporting fluctuating demand and softening in certain sectors so to see the renewed optimism suggests many believe these markets are coming back on stream.” Continue reading
Amdale Limited based in Portsmouth has secured additional premises. The additional unit which is adjoined to our current premises is undergoing refurbishment and will be ready for use late November.
The decision to acquire additional premises was taken in response to the high demand for more intricate and demanding 5 axis machining solutions from our valued customers. We decided to invest in two new additional 5 axis machining centres together with an additional CMM to add to our quality inspection department.
