Managing Director
Martin set up Amdale over 21 years ago because he wanted to provide “bespoke engineering solutions” to the engineering industry. In those days he believed it important to maintain exceptional customer relations and support at all times - a philosophy that he and his staff maintain today.
Martin has two grown up children and loves scuba diving. He is a diving instructor and member of the British Sub Aqua Club. Recently Martin has realised his dream of diving with Whale Sharks in the Galapagos Islands.

Operations Manager
Kevin is a good all-rounder when it comes to Operations: nothing phases him. It is Kevin’s responsibility to ensure that everything in the factory, from machines, production control, processes to staffing levels runs smoothly, delivering quality everytime.
In his spare time Kevin likes to be zooming about the highways and byways on his Italian RSV 1000 Mielle Aprilia motor bike.

Technical Sales Manager
John started his career with Amdale on the shop floor. He spent 6 years working as a CNC Milling specialist before being promoted to Technical Sales Manager. John is the first point of contact for any bespoke engineering requirements.
John loves nothing better than messing about in boats. He is passionate about sailing and makes use of the waterways around Portsmouth and the Solent at every opportunity.

Quality Manager
Coming from a Formula 1 background, Martin is well aware of the importance of precision engineering and quality control. Anything to do with quality issues and inspection are his responsibility. He is proud of his work and loves his job.
Rebuilding classic cars is Martin’s pastime. He has built a Mazda RX7 that is his current pride and joy.

Office Manager
Natalie was a junior when she started working for Amdale and 9 years on she is our Office Manager. Her responsibilities include Credit Control as well as the running of the office.
Socialising with friends is Natalie’s favourite pastime.

Programming Manager
Nathan started his career with Amdale as an apprentice. After years of specialist training, he is currently Programming Manager. It is his duty to keep abreast of new technologies and techniques that will save customers time and money. Nathan is responsible for Power SHAPE and Power MILL – the latest 3D CAM programmes.
Nathan’s spare time revolves around his wife and two children, although when he has a spare hour or so he is on the computer getting to grips with new technologies and programmes.

Technical Planning Manager
John is an incredible problem solver, giving him the edge as an innovative Technical Planning Manager. When a Production Plan is needed, Nathan, Martin Bailey, Kevin and John work together.
John grew up on a farm. It is no surprise that he still takes pleasure in growing fruit and vegetables for his wife and two grown up children.
